Peachy Keen Tart:

Today I couldn't help but have dessert for lunch on such a warm summer afternoon. So I baked up this quick and easy "Peachy Keen Tart." Half of if was devoured this afternoon with my good friends Lauren and Karen. I'll admit I had two slices!

You will need:
1: Pre made pie crust
2: Three Medium Peaches, slices
3: 1/3 of a cup sugar (add more for under ripe peaches)
4: 1/4 of a cup brown sugar (add more for under ripe peaches)
5: 1 tsp ground cinnamon
6: 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
7: 1 tsp cornstarch
8: 1/2 tsp salt
9: 1 tbsp cold butter, cubed
10: 1 egg, beaten

Let's get started:
a: Lay pie crust over parchment paper on a cookie sheet, preheat oven as directed on pie crust's box.
b: In a medium bowl, mix peaches, sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, cornstarch, and salt together gently.
c: layer peaches on pie crust as directed in the photograph below.

d: Fold over excess pie crust, brush entire tart with egg, and dot with butter cubes as shown in the following picture.

e: Bake per direction on pie crust's packaging:

Hello sweet tart!

Yours,
Nico
